    I have just purchased a dell laptop and the seller transfered the warranty to me how do i check if it is in my name

    Please find the link below where you can enter the service tag and check the warranty status of the machine.
    You will have to select your respective country from the drop down option available from the left hand top of the web page.

    Troubleshooting
    It will only tell you about the warranty status, not the owner’s information. The best way to find out if the warranty is reflecting under your name is to contact the Customer care department.
