    How do i used wireless?

    got studio 1555 today.

    at home on my mac i see tons of Wireless connections.

    When i try to connect to a netowrk on the 1555 I see 0 networks. why is that? how do i use the wirelss card that cmae with it

    i think that was it! how would i have known that unless you told me? i see no lights or anything.

    i did see somwhere it say "radio disabled" is that what that meant?

    I would think there is an indicator. See if you can find the WiFi logo on the laptop along the middle strip of icons/indicators.

    ^The Studio 1555 does not have any indicator lamps except for power.

    hockmasm, if you have the Dell QuickSet software installed, there should be on-screen indicators for stuff like WiFi, brightness, volume, etc.

    Got to love consumer laptops... :confused:

    Small things like that definately don't make them any more user-friendly. I'm sticking to Latitudes...
