I've seen about 3 people yesterday on various places post 5% off dell coupons, of course they were all stackable and of course i miss them all. Does anyone know how people are receiving these 5% off coupons? I have been subscribed to dells mailing list for a month that I've been laptop shopping but so far nothing. Anybody have a clue or hell a coupon they don't need?
Thank you,
Doug

I chat with Dell online and they issued me a $100 coupon. You might try this and ask for a coupon.

did you complain or simply ask? (thanks for the response by the way it hadn't occurred to me).

Hope this helps. -
meh just spoke to a chat representative and no such luck here. oh bother, I was hoping not to spend as much as I'm going to be, it looks like I'll have to. Thanks though!

I wish the first one had helped you though. -
I appreciate the help a lot goose, but I chatted again, no go. Called up the number I finally squeezed out of him, she said to quote "dell is all ready losing money on this laptop, I cannot issue a discount (then went on to explain why it could not be done and that stackable coupons are just randomly sent). so ok it all came up to about $875, not what I wanted to spend but it will get me through at least the next few years of my life. once again thanks!

You get 5% off stackable codes by signing up on the Dell mailing lists according to instructions here:

I signed up in October and I got a 5% stackable code and a 20% E&A code in the mail last week too.
How do people recieve 5% stackable off?
