I am just wondering should I be EPP member or something to use it? Or I can just ebay one EPP coupon and use it when I am buying my notebook, without doing anything further? Just curious.
Oh also one more thing - is the $35 off $300 coupon stackable with all other coupons?
Thanks!

The $35 off $300 on ebay is only for use in the electronics and accessories page. I don't know about your first question.
-
not true.....I've applied them to Inspiron systems and they work fine. They stack with the other coupons as well. -
Thanks guys. Also can anybody answer my question about EPP coupons?
-
Yes you'll need to have a EPP member ID to buy stuff through Dell EPP, most universities or large corporations have an EPP member ID with Dell, you can find such ID pretty easily by doing a search on the web. -
Well I guess there should be some sort of a catch, otherwise everybody would use the 33% off inspiron EPP coupon. For example you probably should BE in the university to get the ID or something?
-
Yes if you are with an university you can use your school's EPP member ID (usually starts with USXXXXXX). If you are not a student but if you still know the EPP member ID of a certain school, you can use the member ID to make your Dell EPP purchase, just enter the school EPP member ID during checkout and you shoud be fine. I also heard stories about people making up a EPP member ID (just type in any number in the EPP ID field) and Dell won't bother to check it...

I tried buying through the hospital link and found that they were bundling the computer with an extended home service warranty. I just opted for the electronic coupons through here and other coupon websites. In the end I just went to the Dell Small Business website to get the D620 at $400 off. I wish I could have bought it when it first came out with dedicated video or when Ebay was selling the 30% off coupons.

I priced my E1505 using the EPP code from a non-profit I'm involved with and found the same thing. With free upgrades and coupons I got a much better deal at Dell Home.

You need to be a epp member -
I think usually you can get a better deal at Dell Home but right now you can use a $750 off $1999+ coupon through EPP and then still get 12% off (EPP discount) and also get a $150 mail-in rebate if you choose the best warranty.
Beats Dell Home if you're looking for an extended warranty...... -
I'd have to agree with the 3 Year warranty EPP deal. A friend got the same laptop as mine but with the 3 Year warranty and he actually paid less than I did. Must have something to do with that 12% EPP discount -

Thanks

The $750 EPP coupons expired last Thursday........You'll have to wait for them to show up again.
Oops....I spoke too soon. I just checked the website and Dell put the coupons back up again. Check my other post for details. -
thanks so much
How do the Dell EPP coupons work?
