Im nervous about reformatting my PC. i wana make sure how to use the resource CD correctly. whats does the resource CD do? will it scan my computer for the miss drivers automatically?
DELL put some extra drivers in my C: folder. Audio, Storage, Video, and Network.
i know the Video is the new driver for my 8600 GTS and the audio is for X-fi sound card.
im worried about the storage. how will i install the storage?

It's easy. You just put in the CD, it "installs" itself and then you click on the drivers you want to install. I usually don't even bother with most of the drivers. Windows has drivers for most things like network cards. I usually just install the audio and video drivers. You'll be able to do that simply by clicking on them.
I assumage storage means your hard drive. Shouldn't need anything for that either..
You shouldn't have any problems. -
ok thx. i have the nforce 590 sli mother board. do u think i will need to install the driver for that first? wil it be on the CD too?
-
Probably not, but everything you need should be on the Resource CD.
How do u use Resource CD?
