    What software do I use and where do I find it? I have some creative labs pre-installed garbage... surely that can't be it... right?

    its supossed to be installed and ready to use... not all programs support that webcam

    In Vista, go to start, go to all programs, go to Dell, and click on Dell Webcam Center. You can also use it with messaging programs.
