    How do you check the screen before it's delivered?

    So yeah, how do you check what type of screen you have before you get the laptop?
    BTW I'm waiting for a 1720 if it matters

    If your system has been shipped get the service tag from customer support. Then logon to your account on the Dell web site and go to 'My systems & Peripherals' under support. There you can enter your service tag and see the components of your laptop.

    Using the forum 'Search' function would have allowed you to find that information since the question has been answered before.
