    How do you delete things from Recovery (D:) ?

    There are files in my Recovery that are not supposed to be there. When I try to delete them, the computer will not let me.
    Help?

    i just formatted it then reallocated the free space to my C: drive because i dont plan on using it

    Yup, just going into disk management (type compmgmt.msc into the run box) and delete the partition. Wham bam, thank you ma'am.

    I went into disk management, but when I click anything the program stops working. :/

    so if I delete the partition, it won't affect anything else and I'll magically have more space on C:?!

    It's not really magic. If you remove everything from your bedroom, you end up with an empty bedroom. If you remove everything from a partition, you have an empty partition.

    Just don't come back a year later and say "OMG, my computer doesn't work, how do I restore it".

    haha.. yeah.. I don't have any issues with system recovery. In fact, I turned system recovery off on my previous laptop to save precious GBs on my HD space deprived laptop :(

    Odd, I guess open it from the Admin tools menu. If the menu isn't there, go under the StartMenu properties to turn it on.

    I'm always glad to see Lithus' direct responses around here. I should collect these and then cut/paste them into threads for entertainment.
