I have a business laptop (Precision M4400), how do I know if my warranty is transferable or not? If it is, what is the process of transferring the ownership to someone else?

I think it has to do with your service tag. The NBD is connected to that but maybe you have to inform Dell or the new owner just has to register it with Dell.
    Are you selling it then?

I'm not a game dork (just a Valve dork), it's just I have to admit I have no use of CAD or workstation applications anymore lol.

So yeah I guess I'll be selling this baby for a bigger, badder baby.

@ atbnet, probably $200-300 less than retail + vx revolution mouse + RAM upgrade. Or best offer, who knows, the thread should be up tonight.

To have the laptop transfered/sold to a new owner, just send it in for repairs. You'll never see the laptop again.
