Several of you asked how I got the temps in the upper right hand corner. Well... it is a great program called:
    PC Wizard 2008
is a powerful utility designed especially for detection of hardware, but also some more analysis. It's able to identify a large scale of system components and supports the latest technologies and standards. This tool is periodically updated (usually once per month) in order to provide most accurate results.

    I REALLY like it.

I love the program, it has a huge list of important info, the one thing I cannot figure out is how to minimize that little box o info, I only need it some of the time.

When I had dell's vista on the 1520 it had cool wallpapers but I lost them when I upgraded to XP

I'll check into that. I'm on my desktop right now...

BTW, I had a guy ask if I wanted to trade for his black XPS 1710 on craiglist, and as much as I love those, I declined as I wouldn't have a warranty and I've got 11+ months left on mine. I was SORELY tempted though.

    you're very matching ;)

    Nope... Mt. Rainier! :)

Yes, it's the S5is Canon. Great camera! Yes and no... you can have a wallpaper... when you turn it on, you either turn the dial to shooting mode or turn it to playback mode. The only photo I keep on it is the Corvette so that always shows... hence "wallpaper". How else can you see it on like the XPS & BB in photo shown? :)

Hey jack53, you were able to find a way to solve this problem? Otherwise, I'd be able to use it.

    Thanks.

I was asking if there was a way to move the information display around the screen. I figured that out.

Is there a way to change the font color that is displayed? My information is currently showing as green.

    Sorry I forgot.
That I could see in Options/Settings is that you can put in in the desktop or just have it in the taskbar and bring it up when you want.
You can find out more here:
    http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php
It's free, so get it and play with it.

You should be able to do that by right-clicking on desktop then Personalize/Windows color and appearance.

If someone had one, I'd trade my XPS 1530 for it in a heartbeat.
