The way I've always heard it on commercials is IN-spuh-ron.
<object width='560' height='340'><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2LRGukLFjxw&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2LRGukLFjxw&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width='560' height='340'></embed></object>
The name is pronounced at around 17 seconds into it.Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015 -
its In-Spy-Ron if you live in the UK, and its In-S-Pee-Ron if you live in the US
-
I've noticed a lot of people who have different ways of natively pronouncing things and tend to end up wrong. Maybe it was the school they went to etc? I don't know.
Anyway it's
in - spuh - ron
inspirron
inspurron
kinda like that.
No hard E sound for the spi part or Y -
-
Inspiron..
In-Spur-Run.
That's my take.
Cin -
And we dont have DELL Commercials on TV here. They are only on print media like Newspapers and Magazines. -
In-Spy-Ron - that's how it pronounced technican when I first called tech. support and I liked it, so I pronounce it same way
-
The commercial linked to says 'In-spee-ron'
-
um no it's pronounced inspuhron (or inspehron) in that commercial
There are rules about pronunciation so it makes this kind of stuff easier.. -
Got a kick out of that video.
I pronounce it the way they did in the video. -
In-spur-on.
How do you pronounce "Inspiron" ?
