    Hi,

I just bought an XPS M1530 4 days ago with a $250 off coupon and a $250 Gift Card. The next day, they have a $350 off coupon .

So, I called 3 times and they do not do price adjustment. I have to cancel & re-order my system. What I am concern is How do Dell refund the gift card I used on the first order? Do they send new GC? or Do they credit it back and I can use the same Gift Card code?

Please help.... Any one has the experience doing this?

It is an AMEX Member's reward Gift Card that I used. The Gift card was in a form of a coupon code because I opted for an email delivery of the gift card.

Dell the 3 CSRs have no clue how it works....I even called AMEX, it's out of their control.

    Thanks for any input/suggestion..

PS: Sorry for the double post. Should have posted it here at the first time.

If it is anything like Dell Concession coupon/gift card for $ off a purchase then it is very hard to get dell to give it back to you.

Did you gift card from Amex say "$250 off $250 purchase" or did it say just $250 value and you can spend any amount less than $250

It just says "$250 Dell Home System and Television Certificate". I also says"Full value must be used"...
