Hi could someone please explain to me how the system exchanges are done? I get that they mail me a new system but do I have to mail back the system myself? Do they provide me with a box or something? Thanks

They'll either provide a box, or they'll send you a prepaid mailing label and you ship it back in the box it came in. Or if you already threw out the box, ship it back in the box the new one comes in, using the mailing label.

They will send you a brand new system (if within the return period; otherwise, refurbished). After you compare the 2 units, your original and the new one, you decide which to send back.

You are supposed to send back the unit in the box that the new one came in.

Usually, they will include a DHL prepaid label in the box that the new system comes in, which you affix on to the box and call DHL to tell them you have a pre-paid pickup ready to go out. If yours does not have the label, simply call Dell and request a pickup; Dell pays the shipping both ways (nice of them, isn't it?)

Does this apply to UK customers as well?

When you receive the new system, call Dell Support. They will send you a mailing label through your email and even dispatch the courier to your home if you want.
