So I'm considering selling my old Inspiron 9300. It still have 430 days of CompleteCare warranty left on it. I was wondering if the process for transferring the CompleteCare warranty is easy? Has anyone here done it?

I've looked at the Dell's website and the process sounds straightforward, but I wanted to get some opinions from people who have actually done it and would like to give any advice. Thanks. :)

Simple...except it cannot be xferred out of country of course and I believe Florida as well.

I have transferred the ownership/warranty of several systems and its nothing more than the electronic submission of their form.

Dell are good for this kind of warrantee transfer but there can be catches.
I think the Latitude and Inspiron lines can have their service tags transferred freely to other countries if you move abroad for 6 months or more... .but not for the XPS which can probably be only transferred within a region. I suspect this is a result of Complete Care containing an insurance component. My guess is that third party finance/insurance companies may be involved - one per region and that may be the issue. However, if your Inspiron has Complete Care as well then it may have the same restriction.
