I just ordered a M1530 from the outlet, and its coming soon. But i was holding out for a penryn, and they finally have them so I think I might return the M1530 if its not going to cost me much or anything to return it.
So how is it? Do they charge ridiculous restocking fees? Do they charge you those fees if its open boxed? Is there anything wrong with the customer service when returning? Anything I should be worried about? Thanks

Please search before you post. This question has been asked in at least 2 threads in the last week, not to mention the answer is easily available at Dell.com.

Good question, I was wondering the same thing myself - dell's return policy on new products I know but on their refurb/outlet I'm not so sure. TIA

You have 21 days starting on the date it shipped. You will have to pay shipping back to them. I've done this a couple of times, it's no big deal.
They'll probably offer you a discount and a coupon to keep it. -

i actually ordered one for my gf last week and got a RMA today.
at first they ask if they can replace it with a similiar model in which i declined and demanded i wanted a return.
After that the CSR didnt hesitate to issue a rma and i received a ups return label in 5mins -
Thats interesting, maybe I'll try to return just to get a gift card.. but either way good to know that returning is rather painless, and shouldn't cost too much in case I have problems
How is dell outlet's (or in general) return policy?
