Every single review I've found from pcmag to cnet to the notebookreview forum reviews has people measuring the battery life with a 9 cell.
Would someone with a XPS M1210 mind doing a battery mark/mobilemark/etc session on their laptop?
I'm assuming it's going to be around the Asus W7J's 2-3 hour battery life.
Thanks

I have a 1210 with a 7400, 100 gb 5400 hd, and core duo 1.66. I get 6:30 from my nine cell and have tested it several times. This is mostly on lower brightness but I would say at least 3 hours on full brightness.

I have both the 6 and 9. The 6 is good for < 4 hours TOPS on absolute minimal settings (1 or 2/7 on brighness and wifi w/browsing). 3 hours is more realistic with other programs running and marginally better screen brighness. I have not used the 6-cell under gaming conditions, but I would assume that it is < 2:30 with medium settings. -
Yea I didnt realize that. Yea I get abbout 4 hours on low brightness with the 6 cell.

I can push around 4:30 with brightness near the bottom, undervolted using NHC, and wi-fi on. Wi-fi off can buy me another 20-30 minutes.

wifi on
7200 rpm
brightness in the middle
about 2.5 hours.
