    How long did your XPS 1210 battery last?

    Well, its just over a year now and the battery of my m1210 is nearly dead. I am really surprised that the battery longevity is so bad. Moreover, the warranty expired last month. I wonder if it is because I bought it from the dell outlet. I use the laptop extensively and runs on A/c power most of the time. I am curious to know if the typical battery life of your XPS 1210.

    I had a M1210 till few days ago. I too run on the AC most of the time, and my 6 cell battery lasted close to 3 hrs even after 10 months.

    The 9-cell last about 5-6 hr under light usage with wifi on

    My m1210 last 4 hours exactly with brightness on min, surfing web.

    9 cell here.

    Thanks for the responses. I wanted to the longevity of the dell xps1210 batteries..meaning how long before batteries need replacement? I presume it should be atleast 2 years. There are 3 laptops in our office (latitude and xps) and none have lasted more than a year. :mad:
