    Ordered 1st :xps 1530 Dec 9th got it on Dec 19th returned on 20th "damaged".
    Ordered Xps 1530 Dec21st. got it on Jan2nd. called dell to replace my WSXGA+ LCD "was grainy and dim" got my first replacement LCD Jan 9th. well they send me WXGA 800X1200 rather than WSXGA+ 1680x1050.

    called them again Jan9th. send me another LCD got it Jan 14th . again they send me WXGA 800X1200 . even though I've spent 80 miutes on the phone and got them to send me the XK309 LG 1050X1680.

    So Called again and I'm getting a whole new laptop number #2...

    So how long does it take to get the right non-damaged, 1600 $ laptop from dell??? So far 35 days..

    The truth is I don't beleive that I will get the right one.. Do YOU???

    Damm that sucks. Lately I have been hearing more and more horror stories from dell support.

    I told you so, I just looked at the order online for the replacement laptop.. I didn't believe my eyes .. they have me again set with WXGA+..
    again I called and they said they will send me an lcd with the laptop.. so i will get laptop plus LCD.. the right one.. this time. they said. so I will wait and see if they send the right one. although never said that some one will come and install it..
    does anyone believe this???

    Maybe Dell isn't for you. If this laptop isn't right, try Sony or HP.
