    Does anybody know how long Dell will take to charge your credit card for a purchase you made?

    Usually as soon as you're system ships out they're doors if it's the same procedures as they're financing options.

    OR

    The exact date, the very next month. So 30 days..

    Example
    Ships Sept. 30th, you pay Oct. 30th

    My experience speaking at least.

    they will initially charge your card to make sure there are funds, and then put the money back to you until it is officially shipped. once this happens they are fast to charge you ;)

    They place a hold initially although there are plenty of cases of people having their card debitted and not receiving the system for up to a month afterwords... That would be frustrating.
