I am in the same boat with a different computer and set up, If you go through the New Dell sticky at the top, you can see some other people's times got moved up...we have to be patient, as tough as it is

Normally takes about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks for production phase to change to shipment. The reason is because the laptops are made in Mayalsia, and it takes around 3 business days to get from there to Tennesse.

Hard to believe! I just checked this morning, and my system has shipped 3 days after placing the order. Now I"m wishing I'd gotten next business day delivery, since I'll be out of town when it's supposed to arrive!

The ship date will probably get bumped up sooner once it get's into the hands of UPS. The original date is much later than what it will actually be. The ship date was from Tenn in my case at least

Dell is sneaky like that, but in this case, it's a good kinda sneaky... the Estimated Ship Date is usually like a week later than the actual ship date.

Checked on UPS site today, and my machine is at the local depot, and will probably be delivered tomorrow! I'm going to leave the house about 5 hours before my machine gets here, and I"m not going to see it until late Thursday. GRRR. As Maxwell Smart used to say, "Missed it by That Much"!
