This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i had my i8600 for 5 years gamed ike crazy until the ati gpu fried 4 months ago and a month ago i bought a m17 from alienware wich is dell gaming brand and project to keep if for some time unsure yet as i might switch for a i7 with 5870 cfx if it ever get out for dell or AW


    that sait i might still get the dell back to life some day when i'll have spare $ to spend

    I bought my Inspiron 9300 at the end of August 2005 and intend to keep it as long as it runs (and can be fixed if something happens). But so far I haven't had to replace or upgrade any parts, so hopefully that's a good sign.
