    It IS confusing. I helped my cousin order a 1520 and the shipping date is August 2nd. We ordered it 15 minutes ago (July 21). That is very good news, but one wonders what is really going on at Dell's assembly plants.

    Whoa! My original estimated ship date was Aug 13th (ordered on July 15th), then it was bumped to July 30th, now... it's in delivery prep with a ship date of today!

    I don't think anyone here or anywhere else got a better price than me on any new Inspiron, 14, 15 or 17". I got mine in a relatively speedy 1.5 weeks, so I doubt it's based on price paid.

    The only other person who got a 75% off coupon that I know of (from another forum) bought a XPS desktop.

    You're probably right on that one, if i had a 75% off coupon i would have went balls out on a notebook, upgrading everything possible on it.

    My lappy was built within a week with a black case... if I thought the case colour would have delayed the order, I would have changed colour... I have no patience when it comes to waiting for my tech gadgets :D :p
