    How long till telephone order appears on order status? (UK)

    Hey guys,

    Few hours ago made an order over the telephone, but my order numbers are not recognised by the system yet. I even rang back the customer rep to make sure the numbers I have are correct? He said an hour - but still nothing? :(

    The order status thing is rubbish , mine still quotes " pre-production" but according to the person I called , mines been in production for a while now. I dont think they realy bother with updating it that much...

    I ordered from dell ireland last monday and it wasn't available online to view the order status until wednesday...

    I presume it's similar for the UK.

    I should add it in my signature as I've said it so many times, but I still haven't got my customer number...nor the order number and the rep I completed my transaction with isn't going to be at work for two days.

    Am I meant to receive this info by mail or by salt-infested-snail-mail? (My uni registration papers are also weeks late....)
