    Hi everyone,,,

    I ordered an XPS M1730 2 days ago and was wondering if anyone knows how long does it take for a dell laptop to be delivered in the UK??? :confused:

    Well I ordered on the 2/2 but then Dell messed up the order and had to reorder (19/2)

    My ETA is now 13/3 but I'll prob get it before then I'm hoping :)

    Mine came within 48 hours of the update going to "despatched". No problems with the courier. You can track the delivery online via the Dell site which will tell you where it is (i.e at the depot etc..).

    I ordered mine on the 11th, ship date says 27th..

    I did manage to order an x9000 before it appeared on the web site...

    I am guessing that it isn't likely to be a quick delivery.....

    My Vostro 1700 was delivered in 7 days after ordering, the guy who delivered it (Walsh Western employee) was really friendly... they are good aswell because you have a choice to pick AM delivery which is 8am-1pm or PM delivery which is 1pm-5pm

    Shipped 19th...

    Won't arrive till the 26th because of the bank holiday....

    3 days on and the order is still "processing"

    went into Pre-production as of 1/04/08, still estimated at 15/04, but of course, hoping it will be sooner xD

    I think they have a few issues with that tool. They also have an issue with availability of a few items.

    Mine took till just before the quoted delivery date but that was because of the bank holiday lack of deliveries (yes they only deliver Monday-Friday working days only)

    14 days sounds about right....

    ordered 28/03, estimated delivery date 15/04.

    "Processing" up to 30/03

    Pre Production : 01/04 - 09/04
    Production : 10/04 (checked at both 11am and about 11pm
    Stage 5 : Dispatched 11/04 (checked at 9am).

    somwhere inbetween 11pm Thursday and 9am Friday my pc was assembled, tested, prepped and dispatched.. o.o,

    Estimated is still 15/04, but if it's with the carrier today, i expect its going to be here Monday.

    *Edit*
    called by Dell 12:20 today, and they said it's going to be delivered on 15th april 1pm-5pm by "Walsh Western".

    so the estimate was actually spot on.. meh.
