    In a nut shell:

Bought Complete Care add-on to warrenty plan yesterday morning

Dumped a glass of water all over E1505...water came out everywhere...it went through the whole system

Friend and I carefully took case apart today, all dried out...put Battery back in...nadda...it's DOA

How long should I wait before calling Dell? Not showing up on my service plan yet as having complete care. Thinking of waiting until next Saturday. They really going to care how long between purchasing the plan and submitting a replacement request? Thanks in advance.

Read the details of the plan. On some plans if not bought with the system, there is a 30 day wait anyway.

It sounds suspiciously like you intended to buy the plan to force Dell into giving you a new laptop...

I'm not accusing you of it (and honestly I'm not judging), but Dell might see it that way if you aren't too careful with this. I just wanted to make sure you knew that.

However, I'd say wait about a week. For one, that will give Dell time to update the system, and for two it will give your computer a chance to heal up (and fully dry...no amount of cleaning would probably get it all).

Guess I'll put it in the closet for a few weeks then. Give them a call around Christmas time?
