How long after you received your computers did it take to get the promised coupons? Did it come through e-mail or mail?

To the best of my knowledge nobody has received promised coupons. I, as others, was told about these by Dell Reps but, when i later asked, was told there is no such thing.

All discounts/comps have been directly put towards the system purchased.

I recieved a coupon approximately a day after they offered it. I used it towards the purchase of additional bags for my family's laptops and sleeve.

Yes, thats affirmative. Most offered coupons or next day shipping are phony. Don't fall for it, because they are lying to you. Once they start talking like this, hang up/exit and report them to a supervisor.

I also got next day shipping - as promised. Unfortunately, I was not at the door to pick the package up.

I called Dell today to ask about the coupons but they told me I could not get it because I had already received an $100 credit. When I tried to explain to them that the $100 credit was because of the $80 in taxes I was supposed to get back during the tax-free weekend and the $20 was from a discount I didn't get in full, he still told me I couldn't get my $25 credit and $50 coupon. No doubt I will be asking them about that credit and coupon when they call one of the 4 CS reps call to tell me my order has shipped, even though I already know this

I agree with the fact that many are getting concession; Im sure i top the list. I just wasnt aware that anyone actually did receive a coupon allowing such.

When my delays first started, I was told by a Rep that all m1330s would be getting 200 merch coupons in the packaging when it arrived. I was told later that that wasnt the case.

Yeah some reps have very bad information. Unless you get a coupon code, consider yourself coupon-less.

I would think if you did online chat and the copy they send you promises you something you would be able to use that to argue your point and get it...

All i got was a 150 dlls discount on the 2 years completecare warranty and like 20 dollar discount on upgrade from 1 > 2 gb.
But warranty in mexico is overpriced anyway so that isnt much.

Does completecare include all the other warranties? like technicians coming over to fix it and stuff like that?

any discounts promised will not get processed until the unit ships and even then you will most likely have to call them back and give them the case number where it states you will recieve the discounts. i know if i didnt call back they would never have gave me the discounts i was told i would get... im calling the same minute i hear shipped on the phone order status thing to get all my discounts... this way if they give you any hard times about them simply say okay nevermind ill refuse the system when it gets here, they usually change their tune after that...

I received an online coupon today after having to call and e-mail about it twice. I received my laptop about a month ago after it being delayed for 40 days. Hence my finally received compensation.

They sent me an e-mail with a coupon code, but here's the kicker. It has to be spent in one purchase, and before shipping and taxes my purchase must be OVER the coupon amount. So since I have $100 coupon I have to spend at least $100.01 before shipping and taxes. They suck, after dealing with them I don't want to give them any more of my money. It's slightly ridiculous.
