I have a feeling its going to be gone soon... with the 9400 out already and the pentium M being replaced.

I really hope they keep it though because its one of the cheaper gaming notebooks... Im going to be able to get a new computer after tax time, and I was really hopeing this was going to be the one.

i would say another 3-6 months....but thats more or less of a guess. the duo chips were just released, so there will be a time where the old is getting thrown out. the duo chips at the moment are much more expensive also. i dont think there is enough demand for the duo's at the moment so i say 3-6 months, before the duo's pick up steam.

the diffrence in 9300 and 9400 is $163, please stop speculating yonahs magicly more expensive, apple prices stayed the same with the switch,
    it isnt much more expensive

also to gain attention yes the first models we see are in high end notebooks but soon everyones product line will be refreshed, its no diff than whan the sonimas took the stage a year or w/e ago

Eeeek! We get our money in about 6 months... I really hope I can get it in time.

If not, the only other gaming notebook I can afford is the Compaq v4000T... and I wouldnt be surprized if that one is gone by then too...

Dell isn't really pushing the E1705 now. (It wasn't even a big thing at CES for Dell). The regular Pentium M notebooks are selling so well. Dell is riding out the greatness of what they have now.

It was a big thing for them at CES, I suppose it depends on your perspective.

As to the 9300, it's my impression that it will be available for a long time still, at least several months. We'll see if we can get something more definitive though.

Oh sorry Brian. I watched Michael Dell's keynote and he didnt pull off any shiny covering off the E1705. He actually talked more about the XPS m170 than the E1705. Sorry about that.

Oh I wasn't really talking about that, nor was I trying to insult you. I'm just saying that everyone sees a different show and since we met with Dell provately a few times, we know they're excited about this unit.
