I installed the latest version of fangui today. It seems to work ok. The second fan seems to be on all the time at a low speed. 900 rpm or so. Is this the way it should be. The first fan does come on when the temp gets to the point I have set and it runs at a fairly low speed. 2000 to 2500 rpms most of the time. I do have the notebook sitting on a targus device with two fans to keep the bottom cool. Does this seem like the correct way it should be running.

I believe there is one over the CPU and one over the GPU. I know on my e1705 I have two, so the e1505 is probably the same. I know I keep both my fans on low at all times to keep temps down. Your notebook seems to be running fine.

Thank you. Makes me feel better. The temps stay around 100 to 105 F so it stays fairly cool. I do not play and heavy games just easy stuff.

The E1505/i6400 has only one fan. The fan cools down the GPU/CPU-heatpipe.
