I have my M1330 for almost a week. I didn't notice much on the screen at first but as I read some posts here, some people are complaining about grainy screen on their m1330. Now, everytime I look at it, I notice more graininess to it. I think I have the CMO screen, is this screen subject more graininess issue then other manufacture?

If you can't easily tell it's there, then you don't have a grain problem.

Chi Mei (CMO) and Toshiba manufacture LED screens for the M1330. As far as graininess, the Toshiba screen isn't bad. You can only see it if you concentrate on it. I think this issue about grainy screens was just blown way out of proportion! Relax and be happy with the M1330 LED screen, it's about the best Dell has to offer now.

I just want to make sure I am getting what I paid for. I don't want to regret it after 30 days.

There was one report of LG-Philips LED screen on 1330. Dunno about quality.

I've read about the LG screen on the Insprion 1520 thread, and it is supposed be much better than the Samsung's. I don't think Dell use LG on the m1330. Am I wrong?

Four: Chi Mei, LG, Samsung & Toshiba. It is a myth that a particular company's screen is better than the others. It is just a luck of the draw! Count your blessings or be ready for return and replacement!
