In the past few years, I bought a few Dell laptops. I never bought extra services and none of those laptops was wrong.

I am thinking to buy a Dell 830, not sure whether it is worth spending extra $99 buying

3 Year Limited Warranty plus 3 Year NBD On-Site Service

Want to hear your input and your stories.

    Cheers,
    David

Same here MDDZ, I have had 2 notebooks made by dell. And never had any major issues with it, one of them “die of old age” and replaced a hard drive once on my D620.

LeeC81, I notice that you have a D630. You like it? How about its heat and noise? Performance?

    Thanks!

I plan on getting the cheap 3 year when i buy my M1210(after the revision). I upgrade every 18 months. Only getting the 3 year cause it offers SOME coverage, and will make it easier to sell later on. I doubt i'll use it myself though.
