Hey guys im planning on buying the Dell inspiron E1505 with a 9 cell battery. However; the guy from dell was stating that the battery is a tad bit bigger, about half an inch bigger, and sticks out of the front.... seems like a bit of a cosmetic nightmare. can anyone with a 9 cell battery for a e1505 please describe it in a better fashion or show me pictures. thanks.

It is exactly the same size it does not stick out. I have the 9 cell battery, it just weighs more than the 6 cell battery.

He was probably confusing the E1505 with a 14" D620 - the battery extends out the front on that if you get the extended battery.
The battery on the E1405 also is extended beyond the notebook, but out the back:

Just as the others stated, the E1505 is big enough that the battery does not stick out at all. It is completely flushed with the laptop, and the 9 cell does not add any significant weight to the laptop.
