    I am currently trying to figure out what my energy consumption. Does anybody know how much energy my Vostro 1500 takes in?

    I suppose not more than the max power the AC adapter can supply. Thats 65W or 90W depending on the model.

    ya, we might not know the exact power draw without special measuring equipment, but it wont exceed the max power of your adaptor. so taking the AC adaptor's wattage is a close approximate especially when your laptop is on full load
