I currently have a core duo 1.83ghz 2gig ram and 7900GTX XPS 1710 lappy. I don't exactly need to upgrade this instant. I see a coupon for the XPS that brings my configuration down to about 3100 bucks (2.4, 2gig, 120gig HD, 2 8800GTX's). I got my 1710 in may of 06 so it was RIGHT when it came out. I obviously paid good coin for it at release. Do the coupons roll out on the xps line or do the prices stay consistent? Basically just trying to see if I should bother upgrading right now or not. If I would only save maybe a hundred or two by waiting 6 months, then it wouldnt be worth losing all that exclusive time with the 8800s. But if I could get a well equipped system for much cheaper; I could wait. Thanks.
