    Dell must make at least 40% profit on it.

    I thiknk they do 220% profit on the RAM though

    I think that it could be even more.

    It never fails to amaze me that sales reps count ram as a critical upgrade, not taking into account that you can get it for 1/3 of the price at NewEgg or any other Computing site.
