Since Im looking to get a XPS M1730 shortly, I will probably sell my current laptop. However, how much should I be asking for??
The specs are...
Dell Latitude D620
Intel Core 2 Duo T7400 (2.16 GHz)
256MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M,
4GB DDR2 Memory,
160GB SATA (7.200rpm) Seagate Hard Drive,
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/g & Bluetooth
8 X DVD+/-RW Drive
To be honest, Im thinking of removing the HDD and keeping it to add as a second HDD for the new laptop, so I may buy a 80GB or 100GB HDD to replace it with.
I also thought I may make a little more if I remove 2GB RAM and sell that seperately on eBay??
What do you think?

No more than $500 - $600 I would think.. considering the prices of the D630's on Outlet.... selling the RAM separately and machine separately will probably give u more $ but not a lot more... you could always hope for a buyer who has not done a lot of research :S

I sold my e1705 for $940 about a month ago. Your specs are better.
My e1705 was:
core duo 1.83ghz
2gb gskill ram
60gb hdd
gma950
no bluetooth
dell wifi
sony dvd writer
and it was in SUPERB condition.
I think I did good. LOL. How old is your laptop?
edit: I kinda miss it, it was a great computer. At least I can buy a new one. LOL. -

The laptop is about a year old. Its in excellent condition (I look after my kit!).
I even have a brand new replacement keyboard for it, which I will fit before I sell - so it'll be as new! -
Oh also, it still has about 2 years left on its warranty - if I sell the laptop can this be transferred to the new owner?
-
Actually I checked Outlet again.. my number above was probably way too conservative....

how is this done?

There's a form to fill out... pretty straightforward process.. change in ownership form I think..

Ok cool, thanks
How much should I get for this?
