    I got a big problem.

    I can't activate my 5530 WWAN Card.

The software switch Fn+F2 can only turn WLAN and bluetooth on/off.

And there are no hardware switch on the mini 12.

And when I'm in the dell wireless manager, and I press activate. It tells me that I new to push a button so that the card is activated.

    So the card is deactivated.

Is it possible to hardware a switch on the motherboard or what do other mini 12 users do?

    /Jonas

Check your BIOS settings (press F2 upon startup). There should be separate options to enable or disable the WWAN, WLAN, and WPAN cards.

I dont seem to have an option for WWAN in my bios. Do you know if it is possible to get this with a bios upgrade?

Found the solution to my problem.

I simply had to tape off pin 20 and now I'm able to turn the card on/off at my will. Seems that pin 20 is used for hardware switch.
