Does ordering the 1400x900 screen (with true life) fix this? Or does it include the high resolution screens?

The screen grainness thingy is still a matter of argument here (even I ask the same qn a lot of times) and always get different answers.... Some ppl who get poor screens do not notice them.... While some others who get good screens feel they see grainness.... Some others are in the middle u know...... But I still believe it is just a matter of luck..... Who knows ;)

But many seem to claim that if they for the WXGA screens they hardly notice any grainness.... May be it is due to the reason because it has the lowest number of pixels and so less chances of grainness....

It sounds like there is a issue with the notebooks of every generation, i remember when i bought my last dell it was the uneven backlighting issue.

Along with the grainness some ppl tend to report light leakage as well....
