    Heres the deal:

I got my M1330 today..love the damn thing..the only thing I am unsure about it how to make sure I indeed have an LED..its bright, its thin,...but the thing that is throwing me off is that when i go to Dell Webcam Center and go to photo capture, it has an option for 1280x1024...I thought this camera was only VGA.. the video has a max of 640x480...does this mean they didn't give me the LED I ordered?

You've got the LED LCD with the VGA webcam. It offers XGA for still shots, VGA for motion video.

Whatever you are, tone down your attitude. No need to treat everyone else like idiots.

That wasn't my point. I'm talking about your attitude, like you are the friggin genius and everyone else a simple-minded fools. Want them to learn something, get down to their level, don't walk around with your nose up in the frackin clouds

Edit: oh yea, everyone can see you are a common man. You still don't get it, do you? I pity you, you are doomed to spend you life completely alone and the web is only place for you to get to some sort of company.

    Wasn't the other option 2 megapixel? 1280x1024 ain't no 2 megapixels....

Another thing to try is get your display ID from the control panel (System > Hardware > Device Manager > Monitors, select the monitor and right click and click properties, and I forget which tab it is but you should find an ID number, usually 3 letters followed by a bunch of numbers). Paste that ID number into Google. You might find info about the display.

Here's the easiest way to figure it out. (Women method).

If the screen is slightly bendable = LED
If the screen is not bendable = CCFL

I got LED and it ain't bendable. If I try hard enough to bend it, it's gonna snap into two pieces or something, so I'd rather not. The easiest way (so far) appears to be a simple visual inspection. There was a thread posted a little while ago on this topic.
