    Hi guys

    I purchased a 6400 with X1400 and C2Duo 9 months ago.
I decided to install the omega drivers and upgraded to 2GB of RAM around 2 weeks ago.

I installed Oblivion to check it out again and twice today I got a blue screen of death (saying it needs to produce a memory dump) which involved ATItray or ATI tools. When it happened on the second time as I was about to hold down the power key I noticed it was REALLY hot. As in the lower panel between the keyboard and the LCD screen was hard to even touch

So then I rebooted my laptop and ran speedfan to find it was higher than previous temperatures I saw...

    HD0: 51C
    Temp0: 60C
    Core0:40C
    Core1:39C

Seeing as its happened on more than this one occasion (although never twice on the same day :S)... is there a way to determine whether I've accidentally overclocked the GPU or CPU from using OmegaDrivers? I.e some program to tell me?

    -----

One more thing, I just found there was a DELL support on SpeedFan and restarted it. I get these values 1 hour after the BSOD:

    HD0: 50C
    Temp1: 60C
    Core0: 30C
    Core1: 30C
    CPU: 45C
    GPU: 52C
    DIMM: 54C
    Temp4: 47C

Are these supposed to be idle temps?

And can someone explain to me what all those actually mean... Core0 and 1 and then a CPU temp? Temp4... where is from.

Thanks - sorry for this really large post. Just worried about this laptop

Temps look spot-on. My AMD CPU temp's about 40 idle and up to 55 when fully loaded, and chipset's about 60. C2Ds run much cooler (about 30s - 40s), so I don't think you're overclocked...you might have a drivers issue though
