    Hello.

I've tried to get into contact with Dell Sweden for a while now. I have a question regarding the SSD. I've tried to call a salesperson, but he directed me to the chat. I've chatted with three different persons at the chat, but none of them could answer my question.

    This is my problem:
I am about to buy an M1330, with a 64 GB SSD. As of today, I have two options:
1: buy it as a private consumer, and then be able to use some of the coupons and have free shipping, but not the SSD.
2: buy it to a "small company", and then be able to select the SSD, but not any of the coupons, and no free shipping.

The problem is that the coupons are only valid if I'm a private consumer. But a private consumer can't add the SSD to an M1330 – you have to go through "small company". I find this very odd, since the SSD is available for all other XPS systems.

I have tried to communicate my problem with the chatters at Dell, two of them said they would check with the web department to see if they could update the system and put SSD for sale also for private consumers buying the 1330 (duh, long sentence!). Now, two weeks after my first chat, nothing has happened.

Then, I'm thinking of buying the computer through a friend in USA. But the problem then is that I will have an American keyboard layout. Not the biggest of problems, I suppose, but still. (I believe that the Windows DVD that comes with includes all languages for Vista? So it would be easy for me to do a clean install and choose Swedish as language, no?)

Well. If you've read this far, you should pat your self on the shoulder.

    Comments? Tips?

    Thanks

Edit: Well. So I wonder if anyone has somewhat of a contact within Dell? I would love to send an e-mail to someone there, instead of letting you guys answer this...

I have NO idea of the answer to the first part of your question. As to the last part in regards to the DVD language... you get 5 total chances to change the region code for the DVD player hardware... and I think 4 final changes are available to you when you receive the laptop.

I believe he is talking about the language settings in Vista, not the DVD region.
