I just purchased a Precision M3800 which came with W7 Pro pre-installed along with a W8 thumb drive. I'm putting in an SSD and would like to do a fresh install of W7, but I'm not sure how to do this since a W7 thumb drive wasn't included.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Download a Windows 7 ISO and make your own thumbdrive. There's a thread in Software detailing the process.

Wouldn't a direct download of W7 work like they use to do with net-books etc.?
