    Hi Everyone

I find that whenever I start up my Inspiron 1520, it always reverts to full screen brightness, even though I tune it down a notch or two when in use. Is there anyway I could fix the default brightness at my desired level without having to adjust each time I restart?

    Cheers

    Alvin

You have to set it in the power options. Click on the battery icon, the click on "Manage Power Options" (or something like that). Customize the theme you have active. There should be one slider for battery power and one for AC power. Save it and you're good to go.
