    How to get back factory settings for dell studio 1537?

    Hai ,


    Can anyone tell me how to get back the factory settings..
    i have studio1537 model...i have some problem in my system to fix that i did formatted the system and deleted the recovery partition..can i get back to the onginal settings which i got it from the factory.

    No, since you deleted the recovery partition you cannot go back to the factory installation. You will need to do a fresh installation using the DVDs.

    You can just do a reinstall, it will be factory default, since their is a program that launches after setup to put everything back on like default factory settings.

    No it will not be factory install by default. The factory image includes the drivers and the extra 'bloatware'. If you use the DVDs it is just the OS then you will need to use the CD for drivers or download them from the Dell site.
