I decided to install a back lit keyboard and integrated fingerprint reader in my Studio 1535. Keyboard works great not one problem, but the fingerprint reader on the other hand I can't seem to get working. It seems a lot of people are have the same problem that I am. I've downloaded and installed the correct driver and also installed upek's software. I keep getting an error when I try to initialize the reader. Says "No Biometric device was detected". Device Manager shows the reader as a Personal Identification Device, not a biometric device. I'm assuming that this is the problem? If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks

That's because the 1535 has been out of production for several months, and the 1555 does not have a fingerprint reader.
