Ok, I've searched Dell Vista Laptop Reformat and Bloatware Removal Guide already and read the 32bit key for 64bit?? thread

My objectives when I get my laptop are
    • Remove bloatware
    • Install Vista 64-bit (I can get this for free right?)
    • Have mediadirect and the rest of the drivers
    • Everything listed above without interference

How do I get 64-bit on my system, remove bloatware, and have mediadirect and the other drivers without causing any trouble and interfering (this is the main thing I'm concerned about, because of what I've read in the bloatware thread) with each of the factors?

How will I have to go to do this? Please explain this to me, as this thread and the '32bit key for 64bit??' thread is kind of interfering which each other. Or just simple said, I'm confused.

Thanks a lot in advanced, and I hope you can help

depends on what you mean for free. if you mean that you bought a 32bit licence and you want to use 64bit Vistas, the major question is if it is an OEM or not.
read through here, thats exactly what you need :)
