Looking to install the new Dell drivers for the Logitech built in webcam as well as the new Dell 1500 wireless card drivers in an XPS m1210. It says just to double click the .exe file and follow on screen directions, but is it necessary to uninstall the old drivers first or is it ok to just to install the new drivers?

nope. you can just install the new drivers and they will over-right the old ones. Plus, if you don't uninstall the old ones, then you can 'rollback' to the old ones if the new ones give you problems.

This is true but sometimes there can be a conflict. I would uninstall the old drivers completly and save them somewhere and do a clean install of the new ones. "JMO"

The only drivers I remove prior to installing updated ones are the ATI/CC drivers.
