    Hi,

i have a laptop d630 and vista bus included with it. Can someone guide me, step by step to the installation of windows xp professional for d630? I know i have the licence for it, I just want to know how to do it. I can't just boot the win xp cd and install it, because setup says me that hdd couldn't be found.

    thank you

This post suggests turning off AHCI in the BIOS to install XP.
