I want to use Intel software to manage my wireless card (4965) with Vista. I can't find the settings to do that.

With XP it's easy to do by checking or unchecking a box.

Anyone know how to do this?

    Thanks

What do you want to manage?

Have you checked the properties by right clicking the device in the Device Manager and selecting the Advanced tab?

I want to let Intel manage the connection rather than windows.

    Yes I did look there.

    Thanks

    OK

Go to Control Panel> Network and Sharing Center> Click on "View Status" on Wireless Connection>Wireless Properties> check Enable Intel connection settings>Configure

That is the only way that I have found and Windows still seems manage wireless functions, but you can designate a static MAC address which seems to speed up and maintain connectivity better.
