I recieved my 1330 2 days ago,and it has the wobble, and the cd/dvd is really loud.WiFi led dont work.So when I call dell I dont want them to send a technician.I paid to much $.To have it opened up.I want the piece of mind, that it's a brand new system, that have'nt had any flaws. So how can I really get dell to actually send me a new xps 1330.By the way I live in USA FL,I dont know if it's diffrent here, than in CA,Where i do recalled come CA's having not much of a problem obtaining a new comp.

If your within the 21 day return policy, call them up and demand a replacement or you will cancel.

As soon as you say cancel, they will bend over backwards to get you to keep the laptop!

That is right.... act quick cause you only have 21 days but exchange for another new one shouldn't be too big of a deal. I am not sure if you will have a problem in FL. The only thing I know that is different is the availability of the complete care (not sure why FL laws prohibit it). Just make sure you stress it is to be a new exchange. During the 21 days, it is supposed to be one, but techs have been known to make mistakes.

Also... make sure you call customer care and not tech support. Tech support will want to trouble shoot and refuse to be transfered to them! just be nice about it :)

There will be no problem except lack of knowledge by the CSR. I am told Canada/US you are entitled to a new replacement within the first 30 days (some say 21). After that you are only entitled to a refurb or repair.

I know of only one person who ...wasnt denied, but made to send his system in before they granted the replacement.

No it wont. The system is flawed. They will send you a mailing slip and even send a courier to your door and you will get 100 % back. The restock/mailing fees are reserved for delivery refusals.
