Mine D630 came with X3100 integrated video and it shares the system memory. How can I know how much memory the video is using? How can I reduce the amount of shared memory?

Right now, you are using 8MB. How do I know? - Thats the amount a IGP needs to display any 2D stuff.

Only when you are playing games would it ask for more. It does it dynamically, and takes only exactly what it needs. So even though it may be a 128MB or 256MB card, you are only using 8MB right now.
